Durability -- bits

Durability:  Biticoins are digital, so they are as durable as the hardware that is used to hold/transact them.  Bitcoins are lost if the private key for the wallet that is holding them is destroyed, or if it is revealed to hackers who can use the key to steal the bitcoins.
